At Prestige Auto Traders, everyone from the receptionist to the board of directors shares a passion for beautiful vehicles. This is what unites us as a team and drives us everyday.
The entire team are hands on with the day to day operation of the business. In fact, it is not unusual to find Management answering phones or on a very busy day even helping to wash the cars.
It’s this enthusiasm and passion for prestige cars that drives our whole team to go above and beyond for our customers each and every day.
Retail Team
Adrian Watkin - General Manager
At a very young age, Adrian declared his passion for the motor trade. With commitment like that we think Adrian was always destined to end up as General Manager at Prestige Auto Traders.
"At Prestige Auto Traders we have every prestige brand and model covered – and if we don't have it in, you can be confident we will find it … that is something many specialist and other dealers simply cannot do." "I love cars and I love dealing with those people who love driving great cars … Prestige Auto Traders gives me the best of both worlds".
Adrian also knows vehicle finance inside out. Having worked with some of the world's leading prestige brands, he also has knows what to look for when helping someone find the right car.
As Adrian puts it, "I have worked with some of the world's best prestige marques but the feeling I get when I sell a car to a Prestige Auto Traders’ customer is better than anything I've experienced before – the car, the price and the service come together to create one really special package and that's the sort of outcome that everyone is happy about."
Adrian is also a proud Dad and we regularly see his family at the office. Who knows, we might even be lucky enough to discover another Watkin as part of Prestige Auto Traders team at some stage in the next 20 years.
Adrian’s favourite car is the Gull Wing Mercedes Benz.
Mathew Bayliss – Sales Manager
Having spent some time with one of the big guns of motoring, Mathew was looking for a business that valued the customer over the deal. What attracted him to Prestige Auto Traders was the fact that most of the customers actually seemed more like friends than prospects looking to do a deal.
"It's amazing to see how our business operates – some weekends we'll have existing customers dropping by to grab a coffee and see what we have in stock … it's a bit like a gallery for prestige car owners."’
Matt puts the success of Prestige Auto Traders down to the fact that the business turns over a lot of cars. As he puts it "because we have good stock volume, there is always something available, irrespective of what you are looking for … for that reason, there is no pressure to sell and our customers are under no obligation to buy. And even if the car you really want is not in stock at that particular moment, chances are we'll have it for you pretty quickly."
Matt believes he's now driven just about every prestige vehicle on the road, but his favourite is the Porsche 911. And on the weekend, if he's not dreaming about flying down the highway with the roof down you can expect to find him either with a scuba tank on his back, water skis on his feet or a surfboard under his arm.
Simon Baxter
Simon has always had a passion for European cars. And by joining Prestige Auto Traders he is able to indulge his passion every day. Before joining us, he had extensive experience at European dealerships like Saab, Peugeot, Citroen and BMW.
As one of our sales consultants, he takes finding the perfect car for every customer very seriously – even if the car they're looking for is not currently in stock.
It's this continuing dedication to exceptional customer service that has made him an invaluable part of the Prestige Auto Traders team.
When he's away from his beloved cars, Simon is either keeping fit or satisfying his avid love for feature films.
So for great car advice (and movie reviews) drop by and have a chat to Simon.
His favourite car is the BMW M3 sedan.
Phil Cornwell
His great sense of humour is probably the characteristic that draws in the customers and keeps them coming back.
With his broad motor knowledge, 30 years of experience and the gift of the gab, Phil has created a winning formula for both himself and the Prestige Auto Traders team.
Phil believes that it is important to maintain good customer relationships, making everyone feel welcome and a part of the "Prestige family". He is sure this is the reason Prestige Auto Traders has such a great reputation.
His excitement and love for cars means he treats every sale as if he were buying the car for himself. One of Phil's favourite cars is the Mercedes SL600.
Terry O'Brien
Having acquired extensive sales experience with most of the key motoring groups in Sydney, Terry believes that personal and professional service is paramount with all our clients. The best “word of mouth" is a happy and satisfied customer who will come back and also refer family members and friends to the dealership.
Terry's golden rule is to be up-front and honest with all clients and to listen carefully to clearly identify what the customer needs.
One of the things that has stood out for Terry since he started at Prestige Auto Traders is the great team spirit.
In his spare time, Terry enjoys golfing and spending time with his friends. Terry’s favourite car is the BMW X6.
Lynne Rush
Lynne heads up the finance department at Prestige Auto Traders and has brought a wealth of knowledge from her experience with some of the world's largest car companies like Toyota, Nissan, BMW & Audi.
Being a self confessed dog lover and a Balmain local you will often find Lynne walking her beloved pooch or having a morning work out at the local gym, so be sure to say hi if you see her.

Matthew Chard
Matt's 24 year experience with Sydney's top performing dealers means he's become an expert at treating customers just right. He aims to make the buying experience an absolute pleasure for customers.
Matt sharpened his customer service skills at dealers like the Cole Crawford group and his family's auto business. So it's no wonder he's now working with us; proudly part of a team that's as dedicated to our customers, as we are to selling cars.
When he's not working, Matt is busy surfing, swimming or kicking back in his home suburb of Manly. So stop by and say hello – if you're lucky he might make you his legendary skim cappuccino.
Matt's favourite car is the Audi TT.
